I have a few suggestions which will make the game more interesting and will improve the strategy options of the game. Please make sure you read my whole post, before saying that this will make the game unbalanced.

New upgrade in town - Warlord Training (200 gold, when killed it will give +15 gold, available to research after level 10)
Once this research is complete, a warlord will be automaticaly sent to your opponent every wave. This research will unlock the following 2 Warlord upgrades(warlord damage and armor aura)

Warlord aura(armor)
This upgrade will give armor bonus to the mobs around the warlord. The armor bonus will increase with each upgrade(5 upgrades in total) Level 1: +1 armor, Level 2: +2 armor and so on till level 5, which will give +5 armor. Every upgrade will cost 200 gold.

Warlord aura(damage)
This upgrade will add damage aura to all mobs around the warlord. The damage bonus will increase with each upgrade(5 upgrades) Level 1: +1% damage bonus, Level 2: +2% bonus, Level 3: +4%, Level 4: +6% and Level 5: +10% damage bonus. Every upgrade will cost 200 gold.

Now, to make things balanced, each player will have 2 extra upgrade options in town, which will increase the armor, or the damage of his towers. They will be available after level 10(same as the warlord training upgrade)

Improved Armor
This upgrade will permanently increase the armor of your towers. Each upgrade will give more armor.(5 levels, same as the warlord armor upgrades) Level 1: +1 armor, Level 2: +2 armor, and so on till Level 5: +5 armor. Every upgrade will cost 200 gold.

Improved damage
This upgrade will permanently increase the damage of your towers. Each upgrade will give your towers more damage.(5 levels, same as the warlord damage aura upgrades) Level 1: +1% damage bonus, Level 2: +2% bonus, Level 3: +4%, Level 4: +6% and Level 5: +10% damage bonus. Every upgrade will cost 200 gold.

As you can see, each player will have options to improve the fighting capabilities of his own towers and increase the armor and damage of the mobs, sent to the opposite player.

Please note!
The Warlord won't be very hard to kill, but will have a longer ranged attack, which will put him behind all ranged mobs. This way he will survive long enough to be the last living mob. The warlord should be available for research after level 10. This is necessary to balance things out. Like I mentioned the warlord won't be hard to kill and won't do much damage, but could be too strong(even without aura upgrades) for the first 10 levels. My recommendation about his stat points are: Attack: 4-5 dmg(fast attack speed), 3 fortified armor and 250 hit points. The warlord shouldn't have high damage, because his role will be to support the mobs around him, not solo killing.

And finally:
If the next version has 5 extra waves(35 waves max) and my suggestion about the Warlord training is approved, the king should also have some more upgrades for better balance.

Good idea, but needs to balanced good. It's also interesting, and brings something new to gameplay, and Legion needs new things. More upgrades of king is indeed a good idea.

200 gold is too much, it should be convert to 400 lumber with 10 income. If the creep got +5 armor, it will become immortal.

You will be able to upgrade ur towers armor too, so it will be balanced.
200 gold is a bit too much, I agree.
