LVL 17 is still too hard.
For some Races its just impossible without stopping to increase economy from like lvl 11.
For example Elf. Had 300 over recommended Value, still some leaks.

There are other races which can handle this level quite easily tho. The ones with Siege damage, heavy armor tanks.

Well if you get into a game where you have to download the map that you allready got, just leave Smile

There are no "collided" maps anymore where the cheater just has a slightly different map without having to download the correct map.

If you join a game with a hacked map you just download it => 2 maps in your maps folder. The regular and the hacked one.

I always create a folder call LegionTD (inside Maps/Download)

so when I host, I will never host wrong/fake map (because all fake/downloaded map will automatic put inside Download folder)

you said next Version will be released end of year. Which updates do you have in mind. Will it finally include the ranks?

I played 3.41 now a few times (x20-30) and i dont know why but if i compare it to 3.4 its so much harder. Level 3 is unexpected hard, maybe its new pathing or you gave 'em a buff. Level 7 is wierd again. And of course Level 17. I think the balancing between the Levels isnt correct anymore. It was way better in 3.4

Lots of my mates agree with me and are kinda pissed because its so much different. I dont wanna complain or say "Yo just make the game easier", no way i like challenges but the Levels arent equal. Now i always have more then recommended Value for those 3 Levels and still i leak most time, that makes me wonder, something must be wrong here.

I said "I will start working on next version around chrismas", so it won't released this year. ( Chriamas is only 1 month away from now).

for next version, lvl3 should be much easier, and I will do small adjust on lvl17. (7 is fine, it can stop people from high lumber).

"li" mode should changed :
- disable "li" = versio 3.3's bonus gold formula (higher bonus gold, but income cap)
- enable "li" = version 3.41's bonus gold formula.
- enable "li" = put requirement on all research level (eg, if their value is lower than 80%, they can't keep research above 7/5)

rank:
- player get icon next to "score"
- icon should be a "star", with "number" inside.
- Pro = "star" icon with 0
- unlock 1 race = "star" icon with 1
- unlock 10 race = "star" icon with 10 ...etc

rank's ability:
- player get 1 "skill point" per race unlock
- builders have a list of "aura" ability, and they can buy/upgrade this ability with skill point
- ability have 10 level (eg, 1% damage aura per level)
- (need to work out more detail later)

unlock code:
- 5 characters code
- code: 0-9A-Z (uppercase or lowercase doesn't matter)

lvl31-35
- wave still same(eg, everyone teleport to King and wait for creep)
- difference monster/quantity for every wave
- final boss at level 35 (Burning Legion)

New Race
- havn't start, so still too early to tell

I think rank's ability should disable/dispear after used change builder. (and Hybrid/Prophet/Mercenary won't get rank ability)

i would like to share another bug found on 3.41:

Although they have different symbols, goblin poison and medusa poison doesn't stack.
If goblin hit the creep first and then die, the creep get poisoned, and righ after, medusa hit the same poisoned creep, instead of changing poisons effects or stacking, seems like medusa just renew the goblin poison's duration. Same with vice-versa.

Soon i can't play legion for a year, so i have a qustion: is it possible to fiz questlog for each version like it was with 3.0-3.3? In 1 closed topic with only HuanAk posts.

And:
- builders have a list of "aura"...
Will this aura works on creeps at king's area? What about allies, works for them?

For better teamplay it can be possible to move builders whale map, but allow build only at current area. Allow only 1 aura per team 1 AoE skill (AoE debuff?), 2 direct target skills (buff/debuff?). And what kind of auras? Auras for "allied" creeps on other side can be good, but it can be hard to make fine balance.

in game Quest have characters limit ( I can't even put all change log for 3.4 or 3.41)

builder still same (can't move outside your build area, can't teleport etc).

for aura, it is similar to fighter's aura (and stackable with fighter's aura)

and .. aura is not FREE, you have to buy skill point with gold (10 gold per point), and limit to 1 skill point per race unlock.

so for 100 gold, you can buy a level 10 aura on your builder.

I think 100 gold is pretty cheap for aura.

and if player use change builder, they will lost aura on new builder (I want people play game without use their change builder).

I do not answer for huanak, but I think it would be good if the aura come from your builder, that way it only helps you and maybe the player above you, since the king got his own auras and etc...


About skill i guess it would suck, legion has to much lag/delay, sometimes its hard even to income, so I guess it would be lame if we had to use skill during rounds.


Also, since we'll be gettin' 5 new lvls, maybe the king should gain a new few abilities too? Very Happy

i think 100 gold is not enough. 100 extra gold you get around lv 5, and i was hoping that aura was going to be more strong and maybe help the races against lvls that are harder for 'em. Perhaps maybe set level restriction like barracks?

if I unlock 10 race, I won't spent 100 gold on aura around level 5, because it will slow me down on wisp/lumber.

maybe around level 10-15.

and aura should be "useful" but not "powerful", so people don't spent too much time to hack my map for unlock code.

I've got unlocked 6 races, so i can up my aura for 6 lvl with only 60 gold loses? And resived smth like 6% atk speed? Isn't it too much?

It is similar to fighter's aura (if fighter aura work on allies, then new aura will do same)

your builder get aura, so only units around your builder received aura. (builder can't move to king)

10% is just an example, some aura may have higher or lower depend on how useful they are, so all aura should have similar value.

I havn't start it yet so need to work out detail later, or lots of them may change during beta.

Will start with basic aura first :
- Holy Aura (+regen and +% movement speed)
- Unholy Aura ( -% damage and -% movement speed on enemy)
- Trueshot aura (+% damage to range)
- Command aura (+% damage to melee)
- Attack speed aura
- Endurance aura ( +armor)

6% aura for 60 gold seen ok (can adjust during beta)
- Captain cost 110 gold for +% damage aura.
- if you change builder, you will lost your aura.

"I saw a Legion TD 3.42 version " Where you were asking about that Map, if it is a cheater map or not.

I am seeing a lot of players hosting that Map "Legion TD Mega 3.42" for some reason, but i doubt that it is your map... someone hacked it renamed it, etc... or did you really publish a newer version ?

As long as i am not seeing a Forum post from you about a new version i will not join those games. Smile

Please keep us informed whenever you release the new version.
