Legion TD Clan War Tournament

Hi,

i got a idea in my mind.

A clanwar tournament with a ranksystem.

So every Legion TD Clan has a team of 4 members at start (maybe the bigger clans need 2 teams)

We write down here every clan war battle we will do.. and who is the winner team.
The winner team gets a point.

So we can do and update a ranklist.

But before we can start up think about something like this, we should know how many clans are out there that got good legion players?
How many of them want to visit this clanwar?

We already did some games against Clan F3ar but... this guys not rly good legion players ( games end before lvl 10)   

Also we should do 2 seperate rank systems, one for 3.41 map and one for 3.5 b8 map (or in the future b12)

What you guys think?

Hey Rockabilly, how are you doing?

Perhaps if you use the websites listed HERE you could contact some clans. I mean, if these people are hosting legion games, it's most likely they should be playing too  

I'm not sure how active these people are on their forums though. Also, it would be nice if you could bring their attention to this forum as well.

It's really a shame 3.41 does not have -ns, otherwise a 3.41 tournament would be excellent.

Well i tried this websites but the clan fn one is down and all other you need to register and log to post a thread   
I dont want to register at so much different pages.

I hoped they are here active (what everybody should be!)


The thing with the 3.41 map is also the antistuck abusing and that chariots and ballistas dont do double dmg on king as they should... or the tower balances but i wouldnt start up this discussion right here   

Oh yeah, the anti stuck abuse is pretty much the worst thing about 3.41. Would not be fair at all.   
But yeah, let's sticky to the topic...


Nice to hear clan FN is alive, cool, very cool, I don't know any of them players, but it's nice to hear.

I'm not saying that I will, but maybe on this weekend I'll try to contact some of these cleans via forum, and I'll keep this topic updated.

Modify the idea   

Lets do it with teams, even players without a clan can create a team and visit the fight.

Clan UC first team: Rockabilly[UC], Unban[UC], Luna[UC], Niceguy[UC]  

Just ban anti stuck, what's so hard...

I guess it's kinda hard to keep track of anti-stuck abuses... except when there are leaks, 'cause creeps don't follow the regular path after being "anti-stucked", you can clearly see that, or when someone uses it on creeps waiting for leaks...

@Nerv: Thank you :-) no stress, even in my clan 50% of the ppl dont seem interestet.

@supersexyy: Antistuck is removed in the new 3.5 betas and at the time, Clan UC hostet 3.41, we banned anti stuck abuser after a warning.

I did some work in our Clan Forum, where i input a Skillranksystem, Leaderbord and some rules for the Teamfights

When you say 3.41 can't be used because of 'anti stuck abuse', that's not really a valid point.
Any team using anti-stuck can be instantly disqualified. Problem solved.

But why should i use a map where i have to take care about this things if i get a better map?   
And i cant overwatch every fight.. and i also dont want to check every replay.

And its not just the antistuck thing you know  

I got some friends who are not in UC like myself and we play through eurobattle, can we also play this tournament?

Sure you can, just tell the player names and join our fights.

@ Nerv, i modify the Rules and added lower and upper League at our clan website.

What do you think about it?

I also talked to Saucer and it would be nice if you could help to organize the tournaments a little.

I think it would be better if the teamfights not organizet at clan uc website, maybe we need "neutral ground"

3.41 mode is AP? You can't really call that a skilled league.

OK, I've taken a look on this myleague website, and it seems pretty cool. It has got many features that I don't really understand yet, but it seems cool. But, it seems more ladder style, not really tournaments, mmmm, I'll create a page for Legion Mega and we'll see what happens.
IF it seems much complicated, we can just use this forum as a neutral place, and do everything ourselves.

About the upper/low league, I think it was an excellent idea. Maybe in the future we can another leagues, like mid only, -ap games without -cb or w/e.

Not sure if we can do both leagues in one myleague page, but we'll see.

I thought the whole point of a clan war tournament is for it to have good players, not noobs.
If you want 3.41 to be full of noobs then so be it.

Well look, i try to give everybody the chance to play the way he like to.
I dont like 3.41 ap too.
And if you dont like it, you dont need to play it.

Legion td hasnt only hyb and prophet,want it or not it has many builders and every1 plays what and how he/she wants to the only real op builders are mech and paladin all the others need skill t win, u cant call any1 noob for winning u as artic or marine or anything, personaly i make only ap when i am host and 1 of my most offen pick is hyd but i wont force every1 pick him cos i want him and i wont call them noobs if they beat me, after all if u thing u are good or at list better than the ones u play aggest u have t win them with anything otherwise u are just a fancy talk, as for the ph is the "pro" mode its way more noobish when u get all the good units and the others get shiets and thats not a rare case, after all, u dont even need many good units just 1 can win the game for u in u get orc infanrty nature`s tier 6 and many many many other units u can go for best incomes and few leaks, but ofc in that case u are the pro cos u picked prophet but if u had tree of knowledge as prophet is for "proes" while having it on nature is for "noobs" t where its actualy way stronger on prophet since u have better units t combo it with and u can always change towers t get many aures 2, after all if u want t play only 2 out of about 20 builders u can pick them in ap mode 2.

Hey Tasos, of course people from game ranger can join the tournaments!! but so far the tournaments are on hold hehe

And I agree with everything you said on your post, it is a very mature way of looking into things.

Furthermore, I suggest you check the ENT forums, because they organize tournaments once in a while, so just keep your eyes open!
