The bleeding wolf

I have a question. According to the ability description, the ability deals 5 damage, when the wolf reaches 30% hp. But who the heck is receiving the damage? The Wolf or the enemy?

Wolf received free ability when HP reach 30%

this ability similar to Medusa's poison:
- 5 damage per second
- 25% slow
- last 5 seconds
- damage is stackable

so Wolf will deal insane damage when hp is low

Im still confused about the ability. I dont think ive ever seen it deal a form of poison dmg

"poison" is just an icon/effect, if I choose difference effect, then it become new spell.

Ah wait, i thought it was some kind of aura, like immolition
